Beginning of our season.

Hey guys,
Its time for the Robotics season to start up again and the PR (public relations, in case you didn't remember.) team already has some ideas to kick us off. In October and November, we have activities ranging from competitions to the homecoming parade. These activities include things such as:

  • The Grain Valley Homecoming Parade on October 6th at 10:00 am
  • Cowtown on November 2nd and 3rd
  • A Bunco Tournament
  • Parent Night
  • etc..
(Dates are TBA if not posted)

Recently, the team has been working on building our homecoming float and getting our robots working. "Dave", as the team calls one of our robots, should be working and driving in the parade on October 6th, while, "Billy Goat", our robot from last year, will be displayed on the float. In a recent pep assembly, the robotics team build/improved a t-shirt launcher from a previous event so that we could shoot tshirts into the crowd of students. It was a big hit and may even be used in Saturdays homecoming game. We invite you to the parade/game to help cheer us on.

Stay posted for further updates!
