WEEK #5 UPDATE

This week has been kind of crazy with all of the snow days, but still made time to come in. We are working on the final shooter and the release system that goes with the shooter. With the pickup system, we are working on mounting it to the A-frame and then we will add the hoops once they are rolled. We are also starting to get the robot wired. We are wrapping up the Chairman's Award and are still working on the Woodie Flower's Award. In CAD, we are working on the release system for the shooter. Just one week of build season remains. Together we can do it!

WEEK #4 UPDATE

We have put the frame together multiple times but we finally got it together. We have come to a final design on the shooter and pick up system. We have been spending lots and lots of time on C.A.D.  We have completed the Chairmen's Award and are working on the Woodie Flower's award and a presentation for the middle school students. We are hoping to get more people to join robotics and/or engineering. meanwhile me (Nathan) and my friend Travis are still working on the website!

WEEK #3 UPDATE

Right now we are finishing up the prototypes. We are starting to close in on a final design! My good buddy 'ol pal is continuing to create a website for the team. We are starting to write the essay for the Chairman's Award, and about to start on the Woodie Flower's Award. Tonight we went and supported our FLL team as they presented at a school board meeting.

Week #5 Update

The PR team almost has the team website finished and it will be uploaded after a few quirks in it are fixed. The rest of the team is putting in a lot of hours (even weekends) to finish building the robot.

Week 4: We are working on finishing up the robot. Build team is working on perfecting the shooting and climbing prototypes. Design team is working on rendering the robot in Autodesk, as well as perfecting technique with 3D scanner. Programming is devising new codes for the robot. PR is working on Parent Night  planning, finding sponsors, and making t-shirts. Strategies is researching teams that are going to competition.

3rd week update.

We are half way through our season and getting excited for the competition on March 14-16. Build team is working on our design for this years game. Strategies is researching the other teams. Programming is working on basic programming and the program for this year. They are coming along at a great pace. Design is building all the parts in CAD, which is a first for us this year. PR is working on t-shirts and would like to know what color you would like for Non-competition/Parent Shirts. We are also working on Parent Night, which we will send out more information shortly. We are on track and are proud of what we are doing this year.

Kickoff Lunch Update.

Remember that we are meeting at 8 am tomorrow in Jaques' room. Bring a computer, tablet, pencil and paper, etc. You also need to bring $4 for pizza for lunch and your own drink.
